I tested OpenTyrian a bit further. Though I had no crashes on the first level, the game started to crash randomly from the second level on. Sometime gives a bus error and puts me back to the desktop, sometimes a complete lockup. Sometime while playing, somtime while upgrading the ship.
I tried to decrease the clock of the CT60 without any success.
I used Patrice's doom port as a reference to test if my computer is in a healthy condition. I could play doom without crashes.
A haven't tested heretic/hexen yet.
