Native resolution not works, because the actual monitor layout don't probe VGA (DEFAULT must be selected in your case). But if VIDEOCNF.CPX is open with the lists, the board is detected. If no board is found the message "No radeon PCI installed" arrives and the CPX is closed.
For CT60CONF.CPX it's different because this CPX can works with video (boot) options for the Videl or for the Radeon.

XCONTROL not lost data between cpx_init() and cpx_call(),.
