Re: CTPCI update

Yesterday I had a chance to test it more -- it's for sure better but still a lot of things to do. For example: I set boot resolution to 1280x960@16, reboot and... Use DMA, extended boot resolutions etc is GONE! I'm unable to do anything to revert it back :) However, CTPCI still boots with this resolution.

Another thing: it seems "setscreen" parameter is completely ignored by fvdi. I got exactly the same behavior with and without it (I assume it works like in CPX/Video dialog, i.e. setscreen = XBIOS resolutions, no setscreen = DRIVER resolutions). I think XBIOS is used in every case. In practice it means I can't set resolution higher than 1280xsomething (I think), i.e. no 1920x1080.

And finally: there's huge inconsistency between what I set (no matter if from CPX, Desktop of fVDI) and what I get. For example, I instruct to set 1920x1080, I get 1600x1200 (and shifted to top-left corner) what is even illegal for my LCD. When I set 1440x1050, I get 1280x1024 and so on. Basically is only trial-and-error to see what happens... thank for that "test" button at least...
