actually i resolved the problem with some help of the atari-guys over @ atari-home.de : 
 
Main hints:  
0. e-nick (manual IP and NOT via DHCP!!!) 
1. Gateaway on MINT-side: iMac's IP - adddress 
2. DNS : Nameserver of my provider (in this case the same one as on the iMac) 
 
So Ethernat/Highwire works through Internet-sharing over Ethernet on the iMac.
