When testing manually I meant you type those lines into a CLI, such as Toswin with bash.

However, the config files should look like:

/etc/sysconfig/config.if
en0 192.168.0.100 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.255

/etc/sysconfig/defaultroute
en0 192.168.0.1

/etc/resolv.conf
nameserver 192.168.0.1

I assumed the same IP-addresses as the last example and I assumed that your DNS is 192.168.0.1, change the numbers to the ones you need.

IMPORTANT! These files must be saved with LF line endings, NOT CRLF ! You can set this in Qed by selecting "Unix" line endings.

IMPORTANT 2! Do not add blank lines under before or under the lines you write in these files.
