FreeMiNT is not Linux or Unix. It's a multitasking kernel which is TOS compatible.
FreeMiNT can be used with the standard TOS AES (not recomended) or a dedicated AES (such as MultiTOS, N.AES, XaAES or Geneva) which will multitask GEM programs. Further, FreeMiNT can load external filesystem drivers, device drivers. It can use memory protection and it has a BSD-compatible network stack.
Cons of FreeMiNT:
- It does not feature virtual memory handling and UNIX-compatible threads.
- Smaller UNIX-software catalouge. Stuff like Firefox or Evolution doesn't exist. These programs are probably too heavy for our hardware in any case though.
Pros of FreeMiNT:
+ TOS compatibility, including GEM software
+ Much lower hardware requirements to run decently

What's the anti-troll code? That's your personal code to be able to add comments and messages on the dhs.nu site.
Don't have a code or forgot it? Fix it here.
