What I meant was that adding a flickerfixer would not make much sense if old RGB programs would not function anyway for some other reason. If (most of) these programs would not run because of the differences between 030 and 060 processors for instance, the flickerfixer would be useless I suppose.
Unless ofcourse there would be a video input port (->digitizer) on the machine. In that case we could use the machine as a digital video graphics editor quite easily. But as stated before, this isn't realistic and I suppose only a couple of people would actually use it (if at all).
About those cheap flickerfixers: I'm not talking about any flickerfixers that were designed specifically for the Amiga, these days I suppose your best bet is a generic 'VGA box' as sold for consoles mostly. Usually they have a bunch of inputs (jack, s-video, scart, etc) to allow several different consoles to be connected through the same box. You can also get models with a switch for several machines at the same time etc. Prices start at approximately 40euro for a new one last time I checked.
