If I were a betting man (which I am not), I would guess that the DSP is just
pattern-matching some upper bits of the exception words, and treating JMP just
as a JSR, hence executing a non-fast interrupt.

I'd also guess that in a non-fast interrupt it's not really executing the JSR as real JSR -- it's just spotting the encoded JSR pattern and triggering custom interrupt logic.

But these are both guesses (which I presume could be disproved on real hardware)
