Ahem.. I can't find any sort of good excuse for writing Grazey instead of gwEm, except that you englishmen all look alike and it's easy to mix up ;)

gwEm nailed the reg #7 part (please be careful and mask out the I/O bits to spare the life of our IDE drives :) , but no it won't affect the audio.
There is one more thing; Vortex2 stuff is made on Spectrum, and the AY chip there is clocked different than the YM and I believe there are some envelope diffs as well (some expert on AY vs YM better fill in the details). To tackle the frequency difference, the song needs to update the period-table to better fit the ST.
But, if the SNDH sound OK in Hatari at 50 Hz/VBL playback and there are no interrupt sound effects, a regdump replay should be pretty close.
I'm sort of stuck here, I could give it a try myself as I "streamed" a couple of Vortex tracks last year without Yerzmyey going mad at the result :) You'd need to mail the SNDH over though.
