Ok, update with success... it seems there is an incompatibility issue with SNDH players and Mint. I just thought let's try it under plain TOS (by default I always boot into Mint 1.16, 1.17 or 1.18) and it worked :-\
If you use memory protection in FreeMiNT, it won't work. The music players access hardware directly. There's no way around that, it can't be patched.
