Btw. did anyone calculate little time needed to load 1 sector from DD floppy ?
It is almost 1/50 sec , what means that chances that DMA will work (and slowdown CPU) right at Vbl are at least 80% - talking about only 1 sector transfer. Floppy is just too slow for such things.
My English is OK for those who know little more about computers. Even in Serbian and Hungarian (my parent languages) people often not understand what I talk, when some deeper technical things are in question. So much about it. Please stay at topic. Or ask nicely, point on concrete bad formulation.
