As we're talking about the Ppera video replay, I seem to recall the following were needed to make it work, this information was taken from his forum.
A cartridge port IDE drive, UltraSatan was ruled out.
A proprietary hard disk driver of his own, definitely not HD Driver.
An internal modification to hardware was mentioned as well.
So definitely not one for standard users with standard hardware.
