I don#'#t think pacifist was able to dump special effects, just plain registers one time per VBL I guess.

In my case, the tool was devpac/monst. You need to disassemble the specific replay to understand the format of the music files and to detect when and why an mfp timer is started and dump this info in the YM file.

So for music using mfp timers, this is a lot of work, each time you have a new replay, you need to disassemble it / understand how it works.

In the end, there#'#re not that much different replays : once you handle Jochen Hippel, Chipmon/Scavenger, Big Alec, Maxymizer and a few others, you should be able to cover 95% of all musics with mfp timers.
