Hello,
I'm working on an hardware project emulating the YM2149 and... I was wondering a few things :
- When Leonard created the YM format (basically YM registers dump), what were the tools to perform those dumps (including effects such as digidrums and sync-buzzer) ?
- What are the differents effects (and what's behind) that coders have introduced ?
I understood that :
- Sync Buzzer is to modify the YM enveloppe register using timers
- SID voice is a kind of basic digidrum, a square signal sampled and then replayed as digidrum
- others ?
thx :)

What's the anti-troll code? That's your personal code to be able to add comments and messages on the dhs.nu site.
Don't have a code or forgot it? Fix it here.
