AdamK : I tried to run Pacifist on XP, it killed my nvidia video driver :)
Btw, was PacifiST able to dump special effects ?
Mr.Styckx : so.. not "so" simple, and I'm not sure that for all the YM songs dumped somebody has extracted the replay routine (especially for games...), especially when special effects were used... so I guess you're right in those cases it should require a special analysis/tool/... (which were ?)
Hum you said ym only support "triangle waves", square waves no ?
so the SID voice is "just" a volume table, so a kind of LFO on the volume.
