okey, my curiosity won totally, I compiled the game =)
it's nearly working out of the box, you need alan's patch for wchar.h (see mintlist for details) and enable mbstate and mbrtowc stuff in decl.cc and decl.h (i.e. pretending we're win32 platform without this stuff)
about playability... erm, we really need supervidel / ctpci :) it's 640x480/256, this is big piece of cake for ct60 (chunky to planar for whole screen + sdl use some more internal buffers with the same size, IIRC).
however, there's an option for disabling reflection and in that case the lower half of screen is just blue (with some gradient), it could be pretty easy to disable refreshing for this lower part => atari will convert just about 1/2 of chunky data => it will be playable.
