true, but you can -pair- instructions..
two times add.l dn,dm is not 16 cycles, but 12. i checked some code from rapido/synergy and he also uses this type of combining of instructions alot.. as i'm sure do most st coders..
mikro: sometimes reading reference docs is the last thing a coder does ;)
