Grey, let me get this right. You feel embarrassed for something you didn't have the tiniest bit to do with? Sorry i didn't get that. The Atari ST(E) is a platform like many others. Ok, we have a special relationship to it since we spent large portions of time on it, but why should someone feel embarrassed about a product from another crew? Let em code and let em release their screens (even if it tend to be remakes of approximately 15 year old screens). You can always choose to ignore them. And for your comments about pouet. Honestly I don't care what guys on other platforms think about Atari stuff because I believe people who haven't coded on a specific platform can't judge productions for this very platform, because they don't have a clue what's possible or not.
Besides so called "bad" productions seem to show the value of the technically impressive ones or the well designed ones. I don't think someone would say: "Ahh, look that's an ST. You can only do colourful one plane effects with it." The ST platform has been around for 20 years now, and I believe that most people should have heard of it by now, most likely they even know the good productions already and the rest doesn't care like most people. So what makes you so angry about the Beasts, or however they are called now?
I really wonder why it's always the most stupid topics that get the most attention here :) I would really suggest to chill a bit, since this is leading nowhere.
