There is a very fine line between not wanting to raise hopes prematurely, and keeping things too much in the dark, and it is very hard to get that right!
And people do disappear for a while, then come back later, so maybe we should stop worrying so much.
I've also got an item three, which I only thought of later ;-)
3. General activity and interest shouldn't be judged on the DHS BBS alone. There are quite a few people who hang out on other BBS, such as Atari Forum, without coming near this one.
