Thanks a lot for figuring it out.
To change the timing in the line of opening the bottom border will need a bit more effort especially for MegaSTE.
For now i tried the following: After opening the bottom border i delayed all following left border openings by 4 cycles. This works well on my 1040STE and also fixes the last line which was sometimes broken. Unfortunately it doesn't work on my MegaSTE.
Its funny that it worked before with several tested 1040STEs and MegaSTEs on three different monitors (Atari SC1435, Commodore 1081 and BENQ BL702A).
