Well that turned out quite interestingly.
Playing around with this has even delayed me getting stuck into the latest Choren-Sha release.
So as far as I can currently tell, with the lack of a VIDEL, the current upper limits on additional GEM desktop graphics modes for the STE are 640 x 400 with four colours, and 320 x 400 with sixteen colours. Is there anything planned for breaking or extending these any further?
I'm sure we'll all be interested to hear about the further ideas for improvements. Are these going above and beyond the original TOS 2.xx and 4.xx series? At which point, a Falcon/TT version becomes of more interest.
