There is no need for gwEm to add anything to maxYMiser as this mod just splits the channels :-)

The mod would mean the YM is not routed thru the RCA connectors on the back of the STE... only the two channels DMA will play there.

The most easy (but ugly) way to do this mod is to simply cut the legs of the three output pins of the YM and then just solder wires to them and add RCA connectors to each cable and try and find a way to let the cables just hang out of the STE case thru some hole (yes ugly).

A switch to make the YM to be joined and routed thru the original sound circuit in the STE is of course recomended :-)

Another interesting mod that i think is possible is the add a stereo circuit for the YM and then mix with the DMA as an permanent mod inside the STE (i dont belive it can be made switchable?)... so the RCA connector on the back of the STE play both DMA and YM in stereo.
