Yep: as Evil said, I also think so. More than ten years ago, I got a closer look to this chip, because someone told me about it (I don't remember who). The idea of using it is quite old, and all people gone to the same point: there are not so much capabilities to upgrade the good old YM.
So, if a port cartridge project is avaiblable, I think it should be the better way to use it, because only a small list of program/demos will manage this chip. And I think lotsa people like me got several ST. It could be nice to plug it in the falcon or megast and so on...
