hi gwem,

of course we're interested in beta testing, what do you think i was doing last month :)

that movep issue (if it's valid instruction) seems quite bad (amiga guys probably never used it ;), feel free to report it to frank (his email is on the website)

output directive: you can ask frank about this but in principle, this is no-no operation since assembler produces (same as gnu assembler) only object files. you need to call linker after assembling, something like this:

vasm -Fvobj -o hello.o hello.s
vlink -bataritos -tos-flags 7 -o hello.tos hello.o

speed: well, possible. keep in mind this is 68000 C compiled binary (i'm thinking about releasing also 020+ binary but I need to make some tests if it's worth the release) and devpac is maybe pure asm (what I doubt since it's slow as molasses ;-)
