mikro: in your instructions there is no mention about setting PATH to /usr/local/vbcc/bin. I've tried to follow instructions from the vbcc manual, but it seems they don't work well with mint (you cannot invoke vc frontend from toswin for example).
It can be solved by typing in TOSWIN or bash shell:
export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/vbcc/bin ..
Anyway good work, maybe I will swap it with PureC.
