I think it's worth noting that Rod isn't the kind of guy who brags first and then doesn't deliver. Quite the opposite. It may take time, but he's virtually allergic towards non-optimal solutions and everything he's done so far is top notch.
Weird thing is that the drivers for this thing has been ready since forever. Didiers work looks really promising, judging by the source code.
