You see, I've used BlowUP quite a lot. On FX machines, on CT2, on standard Falcon with external crystal. All with 50MHz Videl working exactly the same in 1-4 bit modes, 256 and hicolour needs the bus boost from the FX or CT2 to use 50MHz Videl.
If your CT60 have 50MHz Videl clock, then BlowUP will take use of it. CT60 busspeeder can be limited to 40MHz Videl, do you have that installation? In such a case, it's pretty normal that a 50MHz Videl will show you higher res.
