Hi Peter,
Just to make sure: by pressing F4, the joypad on /dev/js0 can be configured to emulate Kempston, Sinclair1, Sinclair2 hardware and even emulate cursor keys/TAB? When I choose which hardware is emulated, in games I should select the input device accordingly.
Sorry, I'm not very familiar with the spectrum line of computers.
