EtherNEC and Mhz
Posted by: Crash Jul,24.2007-01:17

Greetings,

After replacing my cartridge port fuse and slowing the CT60 down to 66mhz, I'm getting almost a 500% increase in data speed over the EtherNEC. For example, FTP with a local server went from 8000cps to 39500cps (70k per second to 350k per second).

Is it possible that a higher CT60 speed is interfering with the EtherNEC cartridge port? Any other ideas?

I'm not exactly complaining, but I would like to know what is going on.

I did notice that the CT60 general setup CPX often does not retain the settings that I put into it, and keeps reverting to turning the Cache off. I don't know if maybe I was running with the cache off before.

If anyone is using a CT60 and EtherNEC, I would like to hear about your performance.

I am using Easymint (MiNT 1.16, Xaaes, Teradesk).

Thanks!
