And CDbackup saved my sanity again. After installing Easymint about five times, and finally figuring out how to get things working, I used CDbackup to preserve the EXT2 partition and C: partition. Of course, I did something bad somewhere and MiNT stopped working.
All I had to do was boot with my restore diskette, and I restored both the C: and EXT2 partitions just to be sure. Now everying is back to normal.
You know how you'll get everything installed and set up just perfectly? For me this takes hours if not days to get everything working just right. It is amazing to be able to make an image backup that is painless, and painless to restore.
Now when I have a paritition failure or something isn't working properly, I just shrug. No big deal anymore.
