CDbackup just got better; that is, once I configured it properly. I had used drive letter Y: for my DVD-R, which is not compatible with plain TOS, so I wasn't able to read my backups directly from the desktop. Since switching to P:, I can now open my CD and DVD partition backups right on the deskop to browse and copy files.
DVD backups that include multiple partitions display one partition from the disk at a time, and you can switch between the backed up partitions using the session manager CPX.
This means that if any of my partitions or files get destroyed, all I have to do is put in the correct backup disc. Files or partitions can be restored using CDbackup, or copied using the desktop.
The only limitation is that CDbackup disks are not readable on non-Atari computers (as far as I know).
For most things, CDbackup is ideal for me, but for the data that I wish to exchange with PC or Mac, CDISO will make standard format discs.
Cheers!

What's the anti-troll code? That's your personal code to be able to add comments and messages on the dhs.nu site.
Don't have a code or forgot it? Fix it here.
