I want to recommend CD Writer Suite from Anodyne Software to anyone that may be interested.
This software will burn CDs and DVDs of several different types, including hard disk backups, standard ROM formats, and audio CDs.
I assimilated the DVD-RW from my PC, and put it into the Falcon where it can be of better use ;)
I've used CD Writer to make backups of my CT60 system, including all 1gb BGM partitions and the 10gb Mint EXT2 partition. I've also burned standard DVD roms. No coasters! Everything I have burned has verified properly, and when I ran into problems and questions, Anodyne provided outstanding support.
On my CT60, I can burn CDs at about 10x, or 12x if I shut off the screen (using Centscreen's key combination). DVDs are burned at a little over 1x (equivalent to 9x CD).
These programs seem to work equally well from single TOS or Mint/Xaaes/Teradesk. In fact, I backed up my Mint partition from single TOS.
I am very impressed at how easily and smoothly the process goes, and I feel a lot better now that my hard drives are backed up!
