Yes, you are right. The (missing) graphics card is a huge bottleneck. It's a pity that neither the NOVA nor the Eclipse card work with the ct60(I have both of them :-)).
Hopefully the CTPCI will get ready soon because compared to my 1280x1024 resolution on the NOVA with Afterburner the 640x480 porthole is annoying.
Not to mention the speed increase you get with a graphics card.
But it's not ct60's fault. The ct60 is a fine piece of hardware and it is always amazing to see how fast a Falcon can be. And it was so easy to install. Especially when compared to the Afterburner. Just a jumper to change between ct60/f030 mode. I always remember what amount of work it took to install a "switch" for Afterburner/f030 mode.
