Any advice as to how I might determine the cause of the crashes would be appreciated.

Check Didiers page, apparently rev.6 can have bus arbitration problem, so they require to have bus acceleration enabled and also feeded from same clock as cpu. aka: 100mhz/4 for bus (25mhz). Didier hadto do that for more as 100mhz, i have problems above 98mhz... I got random freezes, not temperature trigered...
