Rev6 almost working
Posted by: Crash Apr,14.2006-03:09

I am getting some random crashes that I do not understand. If I run in 640x480 in 16-bit color, at even at 100mhz, I can generally run Kronos or Phoenix II and there aren't problems. If I run in 256 colors or monochrome, even down to 90mhz I get address error crashes. Does it make any sense that 16-bit color would be more stable?

Do you have any suggestion as to how I should test for a stable speed on the new CPU? (color depth/resolution, boost, test application).

Are there any fixes that I should consider, such as heat sink on some of the Falcon chips or the SDRAM?
