off topic-ish rant

mikro: well somehow i understand it because coder motivation is a very fragile thing :)

CT-Link would have been a really good thing for MegaSTe.

I want (need?) some way of bulk data transfer between Atari's not needed network cable.

USB memory sticks would be perfect... the other possibility is IDE interface+compact flash, which I did already for my falcon.

something like that for 'normal' st is missing, and i think essential for development.

the first guys to offer an easy IDE or USB memory stick solution for normal ST, which needs not any too bizarre drivers, making own PCBs or hanging bare circuit boards out of my machine will get at least 5 orders from me.

thats a real promise, but depending on my job situation, because i'm still very much unemployed at the moment ;)

so many people want this i think, and o know from my falcon it makes development so much easier. lots of guys started in this direction but mostly so far all became demotivated.

i certinally want and would use such a thing. i dont care about ethernet, but a modern and universal bulk storage system. i guess others feel the same about that.

and another thing...

jookie's demotivating experience with uwe seiment not belping with his ACSI->IDE bridge also saddens me. does he not realise with an ASCI->bridge me might actually sell more copies of HDDriver.
