burning cds on atari is no problem. i used a std. falcon with scsi cd-writer and an ide harddisk. i wrote ~150 CD-R's and all of them were flawless =) the speed is a bit limited: 4x. but that's not a point when doing batch operations (changing the cd and making the booklet almost cost more time ;)). I used metados + spin as drivers and CDLab as the burning program.
playing DVD's.. hhmm well.. let's hope for a graphics card.
