IDE drive on falcon error
Posted by: Saulot Oct,21.2004-16:48

Hello!
I've tried to connect IDE recently (it's my third attempt BTW ;)). When I try to partiton the disk I receive "couldn't write to root sector" message. I've used hd driver 7.80 and Western Digital Caviar 21000 and 2850 (1GB and 850mb). Also during boot I receive some garbage in drive name. Has anyone any idea what possibly could be wrong?

cheers
saulot
