I don't think anyone was offended (or at least I wasn't). To me it just seems like Everquest is a very poor candidate for a port to any platform at all. It has a dependency on many libraries iirc and I don't think it would have any sort of fanbase within the already miniscule CT60(+SuperVidel) community.

Games like Doom are the usual suspects for ports because of its plain C codebase, availability of tools and documentation, and the fact that almost everyone likes it.

The CT series hardware mostly fosters the development of "professional" type software really.

Basically the point is that Everquest sucks ;)
