Numbers can't tell how much improved the Falcon ct6x with SV feels, compared to same machine without SV.
You know, Videl can do 640x480 in 8bit mode. Or 320x240 in 16 bit. Based on the drivers of last weekend, i get around 300% of the Videl VDI Speed in 640x480 8bit, while using a 1280x1024 16 or 32bit mode.
You can safely expect a very fluid desktop experience since the main advantage, the faster VideoRAM, makes moving windows and scrolling Text or webpages very fast, because of the Supervidels blitting speed (VRAM to VRAM is many times faster than VideoRAM in ST RAM).
The Radeon is (looking at the plain Kronos results) still faster, but SV is quite near to it (if you do the same things of real world software on your Atari).
I hope i was able to explain it.
Now i got a set of new drivers that have some VDI acceleration added, lets see...
