Or redo the entire SNDH concept and have the players separate from the music data / header infos. In fact this is what Grazey suggested back in the 90's. But we were too stubborn to listen and wanted the priority to be easy usege of the SNDH files. In retrospective that was not too smart.

Another thing would be to have every SNDH disassembled, separate the player / music data / header and do a big re-build of all files for each release. Then one replay source for lots of tunes could be held, and still keep the single-file simplicity.

But who got time for something like that? :)
