Not to mention that you need to sync the emulated MFP to send the correct values to the YM registers at exact moments during the vbl. Which, thinking about it makes it sound even more hard than emulating the YM in the first place.

Anyway, I think that this is the wrong way of doing things. It'd be easier and faster (i.e. results) if a few people sat down and saw exactly why each driver crashes on 060, fix them, then make a 060 sndh package. This is not as hopeless as it first sounds because each music player code is mostly constant between songs, so fix it once and then propagate changes to the rest of the songs. (for example, I fixed all Tao's tunes for TT by simply changing an opcode).
