The current USB driver based on uboot sources need an EHCI/OHCI USB controller (USB2) chip, a NEC uPD720101 or a PHILIPS isp1561.
Else you need a driver.
Sure it's possible to add the device ID to the list, but I don't know the compatibility level of this new NEC USB3 chip, with older chip.
For exemple normally all USB2 cards with 5 ports use the NEC uPD720101 chip.
Don't forget hardware problems, ;-)
