Hi Didier,
anything that gets more cards to work with the CTPCI is a good thing. But is it really the noise? IIRC, your tests with reduced bus speed were not successful.
Any card I've plugged into my CTPCI is recognized without error as often as I do a PCI bus scan. So, at least the transfer of small amounts of data works flawlessly. To me, and together with your experience with reduced clock rate and short/different cables, this doesn't necessarily sound like a noise problem.
With best regards
Ektus.
