Hi,
I've managed to patch SDL for Radeon in fullscreen, XBIOS mode and with/without double buffering (it will require some testing and code cleanup though, I don't know if I haven't broken anything), but it will need updated drivers by Didier, which aren't available yet officially (broken VSync() in last official version).
Screen modes are fixed, hard coded for 8/16/32 bit resolutions, but I intend to get the full list from driver later.

I've tried:
- GRAFX 2.4, although there is an issue with dialog boxes which are drawn really slowly (maybe fixing burst mode in CTPCI firmware would make things better). It's possibly a GRAFX issue it doesn't use double buffering, enabling double buffering causes screen flicker and dialog boxes redraw issues). It run fine in 10240x1280 for example.

- Reminisence - seems to be ok, but cutscenes are still slow.

I will try to check other SDL ports too (Doom, Quake etc) and try to post some screenshots etc later.. Maybe some video screen captures, who knows.

Cheers,
saulot
