In SDL, there is preliminary support for the Milan Xbios video API to provides extended modes (and that will also be used by Supervidel), not totally debugged though.
There is an option, -resize, to allow GEM window to be resized. I may make it the default.
I just implemented YUV overlay support in Doom, so rescaling the window from 320x200 to whatever insane resolution your monitor is won't kill cpu usage. It works on the PC under Linux. I just started implementing the needed YUV overlay backend in SDL.
