I did test the program on my Milan, which is equipped with an ATI graphics card, too. It even went a little further than with the CTPCI:
Vendor: ATI Technologies
Device: 3D Rage IIc (PCI)
The blanking test would start, but only produce a dense pattern of grey vertical lines instead of blanking the screen.
