The ID is the card is not recognized therefore the program prefers not to take the chance to peek/poke into the video card.
It seems the PCI bios is working, so it's possible to peek/poke to blank the screen.

- study the doc for developper of your card (linux sources may help)
- take the GFA source of RageCalm, you have to add some code.
- if you are not a coder, it's a good reason to learn and start.
