We're not sure about 1920x1200 because it would require a pixel clock higher than 165MHz. According to different sources on the internet it would require 193MHz. A single DVI transmitter supports at most 165MHz, which is what we have on the board. Two channels would be too board space consuming. We reckoned 1920x1080 would be enough for most people.

32 bit mode is supported right now by our hardware. The issue now is rather the lack of software support. We currently run 16bit mode, since the system already supports it.

We have no benchmarks of any kind yet. The write/read speed between the 060 and the SV isn't very fast today, since there is such great overhead when writing a single pixel to a fast memory like DDR2. It's just about 4 times faster than then ST-RAM. We have plans to include a cache in the FPGA, to reduce this overhead 2-4 times. Later we'll add a blitter too, but that will need more software support in the VDI. That would make window redrawing as fast as any other graphics card.
