6. By default it is copying the TOS from Flash to Fastram as it reads that faster than Flash. That's definitly the way to go. My NVRAM battery is out as well, but the machine works well with the settings mirrored in Flash.

7. It problably is a bit faster than 030, but remember everything goes through the 16MHz bus then, no instructions are saved in the 060 cache. I mean even if a mul takes 1 cycle on 060, and 20 (?) on 030 when the 060 have to wait 20 of it's cycles for the damn bus to do it's job the benefit of the faster processor is lost. So cache and fastram on. Nothing else.

8. New idea, is your motherboard patched for dma problems? These patches should be removed before using the CT60.

9. Which hddriver version?
